Steampunk - Part 5

Steampunk may also incorporate additional elements from the genres of fantasy, horror, historical fiction, alternate history, or other branches of speculative fiction, making it often a hybrid genre.[citation needed] The first known appearance of the term steampunk was in 1987, though it now retroactively refers to many works of fiction created even as far back as the 1950s or 1960s

Steampunk - Part 3

Steampunk is a famous new trend that you’ve probably never heard of. To those in the know it has been around for years. For others, it’s “Steam what?”

Steampunk - Part 2

Steampunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction, usually set in an anachronistic Victorian or quasi-Victorian alternate history setting.

Steampunk Characters - Part 1

This is what I found as to the history of Steampunk from the internet.

Steampunk, before it became the full-blown sub-culture it is today, started out as a science-fiction sub-genre in the 1970s. Its fundamental inspirations go all the way back to 19th century Victorian writers, such as Jules Verne. Their tales of steam-powered dirigibles and Victorian-age settings have inspired, a century later, an aesthetically motivated and imaginatively driven alternative history in which the technology of the Victorian age reigns supreme over that of modern technology.

These two young ladies were together at Comicon and they were gracious enough to pose in two different locations for me.

At the Phoenix Comicon 2016, there were many moms and dads sharing the experience with their little super heroes.  Here are three moms posing with their little ones.
